Anyone who says they’ve never held bigoted beliefs is 100% a liar. We get older and we learn better and we grow more understanding of the world around us. Social justice is not a contest of perfection. It’s a process of growth. That has been completely lost on this community in the past two years.

The community went from “this is wrong here’s why & here’s how you can change it” to “If you didn’t always feel this way we’re constantly gonna pull receipts of your past beliefs”

Privilege is a spectrum, and so is prejudice. Demanding continual ideological perfection from each other denies the possibility of growth and prevents social justice from taking root.
